As the Dallas Cowboys make their final cuts, RandHSports.com is here to analyze them, break down the surprises and look at what happens next in this latest edition of First and 10.
Surprises among players cut? No one really shocked me. All of the cuts were players that in the final week or so, in my mind, could have gone either way. I think the Dallas Cowboys should have kept a third quarterback, a fourth running back and a sixth wide receiver. Keeping all four tight ends seems superfluous, but they apparently see something in Geoff Swaim that I don’t. Defensively the Cowboys kept as much as they could. In fact, the Cowboys kept 27 players on defense.
